A little skeptical… (Very much a book person.) Sorry. But I am also open to changing my mind about the value of all of this! Willing to give it a try if it’s meant to be!
I have used online units and subscriptions. I love that they foster independent learning and usually integrate a wide variety of subjects unless it is a content-specific unit. I also like that my daughter can learn from others. The courses teach her about current technology features too. We are MOST excited about the Glamour Girls Sewing and the All About Elections Online Unit Study. I can’t sew at all but my daughter asked me to teach her and buy a sewing machine two years in a row. She is eager to learn. I also haven’t thoroughly discussed the election process and feel that it is a relevant and important topic for Alyssa to learn in order to prep her for the future. There are so many wonderful courses included in this giveaway that we’ve never heard of but are definitely willing to try. Thank you for the opportunity to win and for hosting this giveaway.
