Educational YouTube channels can be an asset for supplementing your homeschool curriculum. You know … when you're learning about something and the kids want to know more. And you don't have a clue. So, you search for a video on YouTube ('cause then someone else can explain instead of you, right?).

But. if you're like me, you get your search results and feel wary about which videos are worth watching.  Is the source reliable? Will the facts be accurate? Will the video hold your kids' attention? YouTube can be hit or miss.

That's why I recommend that you create a list of high-quality educational YouTube channels, then just search within those channels to find what you're looking for.

From a computer, laptop or Chromebook, use the search tool at the top of the channel's video list to search within that specific channel. If you're on a mobile device, switch to the desktop version. (From Android devices, follow THESE DIRECTIONS to use the desktop version. From iOS devices, DO THIS.)

Just what I've been looking for ... a list of high-quality educational YouTube channels to use for homeschooling.

This list of top education channels for YouTube will get you started with creating a ‘go-to' library of your favorite videos for homeschooling.
