Steve Job's vision has changed the world, but not just because of his technological innovations. He also left a legacy of wisdom about pursuing your passion and working hard. Listen to this speech he presented at the Stanford University's graduation in 2005.

Jobs shares three stories, each with a powerful message. After each story, stop the video and discuss the “take away” with your family. What is one nugget of wisdom Steve Jobs gained from the experience? How can you apply that to your life? If needed, refer to the speech transcript by clicking HERE.

In his speech, Jobs shared, “And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” He lived those words by dropping out of college so he could pursue his interests, including electronics. Jobs says, “…what I stumbled into by following my curiosity and intuition turned out to be priceless later on.

You don't need to wait until you are older to pursue your passion. Why not take an online class about your interest? Check out a list of 100 Online Courses for Delight-Directed Homeschooling. If none of them pique your interest, look for a course at any of the websites below.
