Nervous System Online Unit Study

Description

The Nervous System Online Unit Study is a mini unit that contains 8 lessons.  The time it takes to complete this unit will depend on your child, but most lessons can be completed in about 30 minutes (so allow about 4 hours for the entire unit study, plus possible extra time for the final project).

Lesson 3: The Anatomy of Neurons
Lesson 4: Neurons and Reflexes
Lesson 5: The Anatomy of the Brain
Lesson 6: The Brain and the Nervous System
Lesson 7: Code a Memory Game in Scratch
Lesson 8: Final Presentation

Online Unit Studies integrate multiple subjects for multiple ages of students. Students access websites and videos and complete digital projects. What age children can participate in Online Unit Studies?

Online Unit Studies are designed for children mid-elementary to middle school age who can read and navigate the Internet on their own. Younger children can participate with assistance.

When does the course start and finish?
The course starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish.

How long do Online Unit Studies take?
