Are you looking for some fun and educational activities to do with your kids? As a homeschool mom, I'm always looking for new and interesting ways to keep my kids engaged in learning. That's why I'm sharing my list of 20+ Canva homeschool activities.

They're all easy to make, and some will help teach your child a variety of skills by using Canva. So get ready to be inspired and have some fun!

23 Homeschool Activities You Can Do Using Canva

Assuming you have a Canva account (if not, sign up for a free one here), these 23 homeschool activities can be made today, for free!

1. Use the design templates to create worksheets for your child’s lesson. These can be any worksheets too, from math worksheets to language arts, even to astronomy and history events. Canva has elements for just about everything!

2. Make a matching game to help your child learn their vocabulary words. You can create different kinds of matching games using templates Canva already has…or you can create your own easily with a flashcard template.

3. Create a board game to review material covered in a lesson. You'll find tons of templates within Canva, so it's possible to find a board game template. But if not, no worries – you can easily create one yourself! You can put whatever you want inside the spaces (math problems, spelling words, mixed words to spell correctly, etc.).

4. Make a custom jigsaw puzzle featuring a science concept, like animal cells or plant cells. Again, Canva has tons of templates you'll probably want to check out first before reinventing the wheel.

5. Create a pictorial timeline of historical events. Lines and shapes are within Canva and tons of elements you can use for historical figures, places, events, and things or symbols that represent an event in history.

6.  Have your child design their own country's flag. And then you can go on to name the country, spell it, and then make a portfolio about the country with everything a country includes – capital city, country animal, motto, census, and so on! Each of these items can be created with Canva.

7. Design a family tree showing the different branches of your family. Use tree elements and picture frames to really make things stand out! Kids can type the family names in the frames or print out the finished sheet and write in it.

8. Help your child map out the solar system using the elements in Canva. Canva has astronomy and science elements of all kinds within its inventory – probably millions. No kidding. Really.

9. Use an element to create a study page of a continent. Find the continent and then create land, trees, animals, and so on all about that continent for a geography lesson.

10. Make an invitation to invite friends and other homeschool kids over for a post-homeschool playdate. This is a fun activity that you can turn around and use, practicing letter writing and how to write properly for the mail.

11. Make a personalized certificate to reward your child for completing their work. You can also make a completion certificate at the end of your homeschool year for each kiddo.

12. Design a “report card” for each homeschool subject, using multiple pages for multiple subjects and kids. Or make a report card template that you can use over and over again!

13. Make a Canva homeschool assignment by having your child create a custom student planner (and you a homeschool mom planner!) to stay organized with homeschool lessons.

14.  Brainstorm a list of goals for the homeschool year and make a vision board to help achieve them.

15. Design a positive behavior chart or visual schedule to help with homeschool routines. You can make a customized schedule for household chores, too, for each child., Or you can have each child can make their own customized calendar/schedule so they're more likely to do the chores!

16. Create a monthly calendar featuring seasonal or monthly elements of that month. Put activities you guys are a part of on it, like homeschool co-ops, extracurricular activities, doctor appointments, family fun nights, and so on.

17. Make thank you cards to family members, mentors, or friends who have helped with homeschooling.

18. Make a menu for each day of the week and let your child help with what to put on the menu, designing it with elements of the season or other favored elements.

19. Design a custom notebook or lined journal for your child to use as a daily journal or for taking notes on their lesson material.

20. Make a habit tracker to help your child develop positive routines for school work and at home to help stick to them. You can add into to this habit tracker by making a mini-gratitude journal within it, saying “I'm grateful for…”

21. This is something a little different, but you can design a custom mug or water bottle with your child’s name and homeschool logo. (If you don't have a logo – make one as a Canva homeschool assignment!)

22.  Make bookmarks for the books you're reading in homeschool or during read aloud. You can make these bookmarks similar to what you are reading, print them out on stock paper, then color them, following up with using them as you read your books!

23. Make a Canva homeschool geometry assignment by creating symmetrical images, with half of it invisible, and then have your child finish the other symmetrical half! A perfect geometry lesson.
