How to Seamlessly Integrate STEM Across Subjects in Your Homeschool

One of the best things about engineering (the “E” in STEM!) is that it naturally connects with many other subjects. By integrating engineering into areas like math, science, art, and history, you can create interdisciplinary projects that enrich your child’s learning experience.
Here’s how you can make engineering a part of a well-rounded education in your homeschool.

Engineering and Math: A Perfect Pairing
Engineering and math go hand in hand. Almost every engineering project requires some level of mathematical thinking—whether it’s measuring materials, calculating weight distribution, or working with geometric shapes.
⚙️Geometry Meets Engineering: Have your child build different geometric shapes, like triangles and squares, using craft sticks or straws. They can compare the strength and stability of each shape, linking engineering principles with geometry.
