Last weekend we attended a trivia night with some friends. My husband and I love trivia nights, but to be honest, we're not usually a top-scoring team (they're still fun to attend, though!). That week, I had just finished creating these Google Slides Presidents' Day Activities, so I was pleasantly surprised when round five was all about Presidents!

It sure was nice to score at least one winning round for our team!

Your kids might not use their newfound knowledge of Presidents and this holiday during a trivia competition…but who knows? Either way, they're sure to have fun learning with these interactive Presidents' Day Activities.

Enjoy learning about Presidents' Day with these Interactive Presidents' Day Activities! Perfect for holiday learning, or during any related unit study.

These Presidents' Day activities can be completed the week of this holiday, or really, anytime during the year. They make a great supplement to any learning you are doing about Presidents and related topics.

You'll not only find information about Presidents' Day, but your kids will learn about the White House, explore interesting facts about some of the past Presidents, and use fun webtools to create bite-sized techie projects.

I wanted to create something fun and quick to add to your homeschool lesson plans in case you aren't ready yet for a full Online Unit Study on U.S. Presidents (but if you'd like to try that one too, these activities are still a great supplement!).

How to Use My Interactive Notebooks

Simply enter your email address below, and you'll immediately receive a PDF file with information on how to access the Google Slides file.

You'll want to make sure you are logged into your Google account. If you don't have one yet, they are free and easy to set up! You can find information on how to do it here.

Google Slides is pretty similar to PowerPoint, if you are familiar with that application. All of the interactive Presidents' Day Activities are on the “slides”, and your student will be able to manipulate the elements of the slides to type in information, visit links for research, watch videos, and more.

Once you click on the link in the PDF, you'll be prompted to “make a copy” of the file. If you have any trouble accessing it, you'll just want to type the given URL into your web browser.

When your kids are finished with the activities, they can even give you a little presentation (view the slides in presentation mode), showcasing what they've learned! Organize it into their Google Drive to save as part of their homeschool portfolio this year.
